The 2018 list, unveiled in O, The Oprah Magazine, highlights 107 of the media mogul’s favorite items on the market, and marks the largest list in the 22-year history of the franchise. Oprah Winfrey‘s choices range from gifts for foodies to tech-lovers and the best finds in home, fashion and beauty. For the fourth year in a row, curated items from her picks will be available for purchase in the Oprah’s Favorite Things storefront on Amazon at amazon.com/oprah, as well as via the Amazon App on iOS and Android. “I love discovering delectable, cozy, innovative new gifts and revisiting some of my past favorites to find the perfect present for each of the special people in my life, and then sharing these great finds with all of you!” Winfrey said. GOP Rep. Chris Collins, charged with insider trading, is projected to win re-election in New York: NBC News

Rep. Chris Collins, the Republican recently indicted on federal insider trading charges, will retain his House seat representing New York's 27th District, NBC News has projected. The three-term incumbent — the first House member to have endorsed the presidential candidacy of Donald Trump — apparently defeated Democrat Nate McMurray, an attorney, in the Buffalo-area district. Collins had suspended his campaign in August after being arrested. But he relaunched his campaign in mid-September after efforts by the Republican Party to replace him on the ballot failed. He is accused of tipping off son Cameron about a failed drug trial by the Australian pharmaceuticals company Innate Immunotherapeutics. The congressman was serving on the company's board at the time. Cameron Collins then allegedly sold his shares, before news of the drug trial became public and sent the price of the stock tumbling. Chris Collins has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Democratic challenger Harley Rouda increased his lead to 2,208 votes early Wednesday over incumbent Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Costa Mesa) in the race for the 48th Congressional District seat. As of midnight, Rouda had 86,588 votes, or 50.6%, to Rohrabacher’s 84,380 with 356 of 395 precincts reporting. The contest for the 48th District has been seen by Democrats as their best chance yet to unseat the nearly 30-year incumbent while aiding their attempt to gain control of the U.S. House of Representatives. The 48th runs from Seal Beach to Laguna Niguel and stretches east into parts of Westminster and Garden Grove. It also includes Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, Newport Beach, Aliso Viejo and Laguna Beach. Rouda, a lawyer and real estate businessman from Laguna Beach, qualified for Tuesday’s ballot by edging fellow Democrat Hans Keirstead by 125 votes for second place in the June primary, behind Rohrabacher. In a debate last month, Rohrabacher, first elected in
